Often times, I have had to have this conversation with my colleagues as well especially when talking about product management versus project management. While these two are inextricably linked, the product management precedes and succeeds project management. One good consideration to have when defining the roles and responsibilities of both product and project managers is to ensure to identify the point of interaction so as to create an enabling environment for collaboration.
